On Saturday October 18th, we all got together as a family for what most likely will be the last time. My mom has been battling cancer for almost 3 years, and it is at the stage where it is rapidly taking her life. She has been so courageous, she has been just an amazing example of strength and endurance. We love her soooooo much!
My dad took us in the backyard and had a tree for us to plant in memory of my mom! He taught us about the atonement, and the significance of the tree being resurrected each spring with new growth. We are going to watch this tree grow throughout the year and remember that just as the tree is resurrected, so can we all be.
